Spatial Radar
Drag to rotate listener heading. The arrow shows your facing direction and colored rings show emitter positions.
What Is Binaural Sound?
Your brain places sounds in 3D space using tiny timing and volume differences between your ears. Binaural audio recreates this, and with headphones on, sounds can appear to float left, right, in front, or behind you.
In this app, emitter dots on the radar represent where sounds are positioned. The farther a sound is offset to one side, the stronger the ear bias you will perceive.
Getting Started
Wear headphones for proper left and right imaging. Speakers will collapse most of the spatial effect.
Pick a scene and tap Start audio.
Drag the radar to rotate your listening direction.
Adjust emitter spread and room tone to shape the space.
On mobile, try Device gyro mode for head-tracking style control.
Use Request orientation permission when required by the browser.
